Betty May Chard nee Philbey
Mum's zest for life was huge. Her partner Cecil Arthur Chard died aged 59, too young but she was resilient, loving, immensley kind, caring, clever, curious, wise and my best friend. Betty was not ready to die, Andrew and I were not ready to lose her inspiring energy, optimism, support and belief in us to Covid and life has been hard to bear ever since. I feel cheated, we planned to move in together to make her final years fun, easy, safe with family. We love, rever, adore and miss you so much x
